Harry Potter film script left in pub
« on: April 04, 2010, 01:10:18 AM »
The script of the next Harry Potter film was left in a pub, it was reported today.

The 118-page document, marked private and confidential, was handed to The Sun newspaper by a drinker who said he found it under a table at the Waterside Tavern, near Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.

The newspaper said members of the film crew, who are filming at the nearby Leavesden Studios, are regulars at the bar.

An anonymous reader told The Sun: "I couldn't believe my eyes. I know guys that work on the film drink in the pub, but it's very embarrassing that someone could just leave it there."

The new film is based on JK Rowling's last book about the adventures of the schoolboy wizard, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.

Two separate films will be made based on the book with the first, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, due to be released later this year.

A Warners Brothers spokeswoman confirmed the script had been handed back to the company.

In May 2003, copies of the fifth novel in the series were found dumped in a field.

The copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix were found in Bungay, Suffolk, a month before it was due to be published.

Bit like the missing iphone.

Anyway, that's the first of many Harry Potter trailers in the sets now - I wonder how many versions they'll churn out.

Probably about 5 versions: With  35mm they will most likely be sensibly labelled 1/2/3/ etc but come to digitial they will be trailer D/F/G/ or something else and with no certificates either.
